The original GetPaidToday website was 1 ad on a 5 ad slot page. It stopped selling, so I ended that product.
To get started, the price was $30 total to own 1 of 5 ad slots on an affiliate page.
The process was to pay $5 to each ad slot owner 5x$5 + $5 to admin = $30. Affiliate members earned a $5 commission anytime any new ad was sold by one of the ad slot owners. It was a 5 level affiliate program with direct payments. The idea was that 5 ad owners would advertise and when 1 sale was made, all 5 affiliates got paid. That was the whole system. It was viral, it was simple.
I thought it was great... but it stopped selling. People thought it was a pyramid, chain letter scam. It was not, but unfortunately, that is what many people thought, so I ended that product. If I had kept it like it was, I would be out of business. Many websites have come and gone out of business. A lot of them without notice and members were just out of luck.
However, with hard work, I am still here! We have a more powerful and useful marketing system that is without question, a real product and service... it's legal and you'll earn more as an affiliate.
Now for 2012, I’m upgrading BigListBigSales.com again. You'll have even more power, added value and a greater opportunity to earn money from multiple income streams. It is not the same product as 2010, it is much much more.
